    Interactive Linux failure simulator

Failure Lab is a browser-based educational Linux troubleshooting simulator. It lets you explore controlled failures such as a kernel panic, DNS problems and a full disk, then inspect simulated logs, system metrics and diagnostic evidence before comparing the root cause and administrator response.

    What you can practice

Read symptoms before jumping to conclusions, narrow the failing subsystem, distinguish root causes from secondary effects and follow a repeatable troubleshooting process. The scenarios are designed for learning, not scoring.

    Safe by design

Everything shown here is static browser-side simulation data. No shell command is executed on your computer or on a remote host, so you can explore destructive-looking Linux failures without risking a real machine.
